We are seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Jewelry & Packaging Graphic Designer who can bridge design vision with production execution. This role requires a strong understanding of the jewelry industry, retail dynamics, and packaging design-particularly within gifting and mass-market segments. We are looking for
a forward-thinking designer who can seamlessly blend creativity with strategy-bringing fresh, market-relevant ideas to life while ensuring they are executable at scale.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Team to develop and execute innovative product designs that align with brand vision and market demand.
  • Design full jewelry collections aligned with trends, target customer, and price point.
  • Pair product assortments with cohesive packaging concepts
  • Oversee and assist in preparing technical drawings of proposed product to be used for production
  • Support research and development of seasonal trends and translate them into brand-appropriate jewelry collections.
  • Create quarterly trend guides and style plans that reflect current and emerging fashion directions.
  • Interpret design and style trends within pricing strategies and the production team's technical capabilities.
  • Design according to style plans, sales needs and emerging trends; ensure timely execution of product development calendar
  • Create repeat patterns and graphic layouts for packaging and displays
  • Photograph and organize catalog images from development through confirmation samples for internal and client use.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Sourcing teams to ensure design execution is aligned across departments.
  • Work with team on updating packaging designs for each season
  • Generate recaps and presentations for internal sales meetings and external market appointments.
  • Maintain a high level of creativity, precision, and efficiency while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Take on additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the department and broader company goals.

Core Qualifications
Jewelry Industry Expertise
  • Demonstrated understanding of jewelry design, materials, and market positioning
  • Ability to translate trends into commercially viable jewelry concepts
  • Familiarity with category segmentation (fine, fashion, bridge)

Wholesale (WS) Retail Experience
  • Proven experience designing for multiple retail accounts simultaneously
  • Ability to adapt designs to meet diverse brand identities and customer profiles
  • Understanding of retail timelines, margin structures, and merchandising strategies

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in jewelry design or accessory design.
  • A portfolio showcasing creative and technical design abilities.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with technical drawing, CAD rendering, and packaging design preferred.
  • Previous experience in the jewelry industry strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
