Job Description:

TheSeniorAnalyst, Costing Accounting will support theperformance management ofmanufacturingoperations.This positionwillbe responsible foraspectsofbudgeting, forecasting, monthly close, compliance, reporting, performance analysis, and special projects as they arise.Thisposition requires the ability to work effectively individually and on teams within a matrix organization while handling multiple priorities across functions and levels throughout the business. In addition, this position requiresdeveloping knowledge in accounting, finance, financial control, systems, informationanalysisand reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Assistswith the preparation and review of the annual budget, periodic forecasts, and operating plans.

  • Performs assigned close tasks accurately andtimely.

  • Prepares assigned journal entries and account reconciliations and substantiations.

  • Assistswith the assessment of monthly financial performance, including root cause analysis, and highlighting performance improvement areas to the operations team.

  • Performs profitability assessments on product lines, customers, capital investments, and other business decisions.

  • Ensuresfinancial integrity by following established procedures and company internalcontrolsthat arein accordance withGenerally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), MasterBrand policies, Code of Conduct, and other applicable guidelines.Ensuresthe financial statements are prepared in the same accordance.

  • Performs financial modeling andtrendand sensitivity analyses.

  • Assistsin the maintenance and accuracy of standard costing.

  • Prepares and coordinates capital expenditure requests as well asparticipatesin long term capital planning.

  • Supports inventory and other assetcontrol.

  • Develops detailed knowledge of accounting systems such as OraclePlanning and Budgeting Cloud Services/Smartview, Insight,andFriedman).

  • Maintains financial integrity by following established procedures, policies, and internal controls.

  • Develops in-depth knowledge of all MasterBrand strategic business units.Leverages ideas from other reviews and co-workers to provide value-added recommendations and best practices to others.

  • Demonstrates teamwork by responsively collaborating with the Financemanagement andstaff, sharing information and ideas, proactivelyseeking, and accepting constructive feedback.

  • Consistentlydemonstratesthe MasterBrand Way, positioning the company for growth and helpingidentifyopportunities to reduce waste, complexity, and improve our work environment.

  • Performs other duties andparticipatesin special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree inAccounting required (Finance, Economics, or equivalentalso to be considered).

  • 3+ yearsofaccounting experience- withmanufacturingexperience preferred.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft OfficeSuite(PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).Intermediate or advancedExcel skillsrequired.

  • Knowledge andexperienceEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or Material Requirements Planning (MRP) such as Oracle and Mainframe are preferred.

  • Certified Public Accountant (or Chartered Accountant equivalent),CertifiedManagement Accountant,and/or Master of Business Administrationis a plus.

  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP), and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),Sarbanes Oxley, costaccountingand accounting acumen.

  • Positive,and solution-orientated attitude and approach.

  • Ability to travel 5% annually (domestic).
