What ties it all together are the friendly faces you’ll find along the way, the thoughtful amenities, and the delightful details that make every visit feel personal and unforgettable.**This is a full-time, year-round position beginning August 2026.**As Maintenance Manager, you’ll oversee all building and grounds upkeep, including guest areas, kitchens, amenities, parking, and staff housing. You’ll lead the maintenance team, plan and assign daily work, and ensure the property is safe, functional, and well presented in line with Pursuit standards.**GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES*** Lead, train, and mentor Maintenance Workers; oversee performance and work quality* Supervise all maintenance operations to ensure safe, efficient, well‐maintained facilities* Coordinate daily maintenance activities with hotel leadership to support operations* Prepare weekly schedules and ensure coverage for weekends, holidays, and peak periods* Operate the maintenance tracking system and manage work orders and updates* Plan, perform, and track preventative maintenance and required inspections* Maintain accurate logs, work orders, inspection reports, and compliance records* Manage inventory of parts, tools, and supplies; coordinate external contractors as needed* Assist with capital projects, renovations, major repairs, and seasonal opening/closing procedures* Oversee maintenance of company vehicles and staff housing units* Ensure compliance with safety, building, health, sanitation, and life‐safety regulations, including pool and water standards* Conduct regular property walk‐throughs to identify hazards and maintenance needs* Support payroll accuracy and labor control for the Maintenance department* Attend weekly management meetings and collaborate with sister properties as needed* Other duties as assigned* Participate in an on‐call rotation for after‐hours maintenance emergencies* Assess, troubleshoot, and resolve urgent issues affecting guest safety, comfort, or operations* Coordinate emergency repairs with external contractors when required**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS*** 3+ years experience in maintenance or facilities management (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, pool treatment, painting)* 2+ years supervisory or management experience* Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of building systems; commercial kitchen repair experience an asset* Able to handle admin tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and basic computer use* Strong organizational and problem‐solving skills under high volume and tight timelines* Able to read blueprints and technical documents and use tools safely* Committed to safety, sanitation, and high maintenance standards* Flexible for varied shifts and on‐call rotation* Valid driver’s license* Reliable, positive, and willing to go the extra mile**About Us:**We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
