Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics to determine system layouts and installation requirements. 
  • ​Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them 
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures. 
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment for compliance with safety standards and local building codes. 
  • ​Diagnose electrical issues and repair malfunctioning systems or components in residential, and commercial settings. 
  • ​Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety. 
  • Provide input on electrical design for new construction or renovation projects. 
  • ​Adhere to strict safety protocols, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring the safety of yourself, coworkers, and customers. 
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. 
  • Assist with ordering or procuring materials and equipment for jobs as needed. 
  • ​Other tasks as assigned by supervisor​ 

Requirements

  • ​​Experience in residential or commercial electrical systems 
  • Knowledge of Pool Electric, preferred.
  • Demonstrate ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter) and electrical drawings & Blueprints 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving issues in the field 
  • Clean Driving Record​
