Looking for Cost Accounting Manager jobs in Fairfield where financial expertise helps organizations succeed?The Cost Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing manufacturing cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial analysis, and reporting activities. This role partners closely with operations and supply chain teams to improve cost visibility, strengthen accounting processes, and provide meaningful financial insights that support business decision-making and organizational growth.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience or 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Previous experience as a Cost Accounting Manager, Senior Cost Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and inventory valuation
  • Experience working with ERP/accounting systems and financial data management
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large data sets
  • Experience developing or maintaining standard costs preferred
  • Manufacturing or industrial accounting experience preferred
  • Experience improving accounting processes, controls, or reporting systems preferred

Job Duties
