Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients by employing standardized assessments and observational methods.
  • Create individualized treatment plans to meet immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver focused speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to nurture holistic care strategies.
  • Engage patients and families with educational resources to support their journeys beyond clinic sessions.
  • Occasionally assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless continuum of care.
  • Uphold meticulous documentation practices, adhering to state, federal, and organizational guidelines.

Your Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.
Your Credentials
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
