Quality Inspector
Job Duties Include:
Approving finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; performing and/or verifying others' re-work.
Quality Inspection Includes:
• Ability to read, understand, and follow documented work instructions and Quality Plans for injection molded and assembled parts
• Visual inspection and comparison to established cosmetic standards
• Dimensional Inspection using manual tools and electronic measuring systems
• Calipers, Micrometers, Pressure Testers, CMM, SmartScope, and others
• Receiving Inspection
• Verification of attributes of materials, inserts, and other components
• Product Labeling and Traceability Verification
• Documentation of inspection results
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Basic Math Skills, including reading and interpreting instrumentation
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to speak, read, and write basic and technical English (Spanish is a plus)
• Experience in Manufacturing Quality or Plastic Injection Molding a plus but not required
Pay is $18 to $35 depending on experience and includes paid vacation, paid sick leave, health insurance and 401K with company match.
