Job Purpose
The Brow & Beauty Expert (BBE) is responsible for delivering excellent services, driving sales performance, ensuring client satisfaction, and maintaining a well-organized boutique or brow bar environment with a cohesive team dynamic. The BBE contributes to the development of the brand's image and reputation within their store and ensures exceptional client experiences while maximizing business performance.
Core Responsibilities
  • Sales and Service Excellence
  • Perform Benefit services, including waxing, tinting, laminations, and all other services offered on Benefit's service menu; ensure all services are performed in compliance with all Benefit standards and techniques, as well as State Board guidelines, including hygiene, consultations, aftercare, etc.
  • Actively promote and sell Benefit's products by demonstrating expertise in their use, application, and benefits, making personalized recommendations.
  • Facilitate smooth and accurate client transactions, ensuring a seamless client experience from start to finish.
  • Achieve product and service sales goals on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Proactively drive events and animations to generate business and improve client loyalty.
  • Ensure the highest level of client experience is consistently provided, creating a memorable and personalized experience for every client.
  • Build strong customer relationships, encourage repeat visits, and drive client retention through rebooking and follow-ups.
  • Address and resolve any client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
  • Teamwork and Operational Excellence
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and employee engagement while encouraging diversity and inclusivity within the team.
  • Be an ambassador of Benefit Cosmetics and create desire for the brand with exceptional storytelling of the heritage and values.
  • Support the execution of action plans, merchandising guidelines, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all Benefit Cosmetics and US Boutiques policies and procedures to maintain a consistent brand experience across all locations.
  • Ensure the boutique is well-maintained, clean, and organized to create an inviting and visually appealing environment for clients.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
  • Ability to test and apply products to skin.
  • Physical capability for tasks that may involve lifting (up to 50 lbs.).
  • Continuous standing/walking for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Continuous bending of neck, arms, torso, and legs for a minimum of 8 hours.
  • Work in a fragrance-filled environment.
  • Physical contact with clients/customers.
  • Able to use a computer and MPOS for client transactions.

Requirements
  • Must maintain compliance with state board regulations at all times.
  • Maintain and display a valid state-issued aesthetician or cosmetologist license for the work state. The employee is responsible for any fees, additional training, and/or renewals needed as a requirement.
  • Must have proof of insurance, a current and valid driver's license, and a reliable means of transportation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and successfully complete the E-Verify process.
  • Flexibility regarding work hours; ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays, as needed to meet the needs and requirements of the store.

The target salary range for this position is $16.20 - $19.43 per hour. This position is eligible to earn a sales incentive bonus and/or commission.
