Do you want to drive Security solutions for Long View's top customers and industry leaders?
We are looking for a dynamic and results-focused Security Technical Architect for our Houston branch who will utilize strong business and technical consulting skills to plan and drive the adoption of technologies that solve Security challenges while creating the desired outcomes!
A Day in the Life:
  • Design and implement secure architectures focused on business continuity, risk management, and IT resilience
  • Provide detailed documentation including conceptual design, logical design, physical design, bill of materials, as-built diagrams, knowledge transfer materials, FAQs, transition to operations information
  • As a subject matter expert, you will deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
  • Implement industry leading security solutions by understanding client requirements through your savvy business and technical consulting skills
  • Validate clients' existing architecture, identify gaps and assist the various business and technical teams with gathering their business use cases
  • Work as a subject matter expert to deliver projects from initiation through to successful implementation
  • Team up with other senior consultants and colleagues across Long View to maintain alignment and keep projects on track

What You Bring:
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in IT security, spanning systems, networks, servers, and cloud along with a strong foundation in security architecture and practical implementation.
  • Identity and Access Management: Design and implementation of modern identity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Entra, Okta, Ping, Active Directory), including Conditional Access, MFA, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and identity threat protection
  • Threat Protection (XDR and Vulnerability Management): Deployment and integration of XDR and vulnerability management solutions (e.g., Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike Falcon, Palo Alto Cortex, Cisco XDR, Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Defender Vulnerability Management)
  • AI Security and Governance: Securing and governing AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot), including data protection, access control, and risk management for AI-enabled workloads
  • Data Protection and Information Security: Design and implementation of data security solutions (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Forcepoint, Symantec), including data classification, DLP, and insider risk controls
  • Security Operations and Monitoring: Implementation of SIEM and detection capabilities (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk), aligned to frameworks such as CIS and NIST and supporting Zero Trust architecture
  • Cloud Security: Security architecture for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), including identity integration, workload protection, and posture management
  • Platform and Endpoint Security: Security of operating systems and infrastructure (Windows, Linux/Unix), including hardening, endpoint protection, and configuration management

Expected salary range is $115,840 - $152,040 with a variable incentive plan.
