THE IMPACT YOU'LL MAKE
As a Machine Operator in our corrugated production team in Williamsport MD, you'll be at the heart of our manufacturing process. Your expertise will ensure our machines run smoothly, producing precision-cut, perfectly printed, and structurally sound packaging that meets the highest standards. The work you do will directly impact our customers' ability to deliver their products safely and beautifully-on time, every time.
          These are Full Time positions that do not require the ability to work rotating shifts. Core schedule for 1st shift is Monday through Thursday 5:00am to 2:30pm (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) and Friday 5:00am to 9:00am; 2nd shift is Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm-1:30 am. Require the ability to work occasional overtime as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Operate and monitor corrugated converting or corrugator machines (e.g., flexo folder gluers, rotary die cutters, etc) to meet daily production targets.
  • Set up machines for each production run, including adjustments for size, print, and cutting specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform routine quality checks-measuring dimensions, inspecting print quality, and ensuring structural integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Previous experience operating machinery in the corrugated packaging industry (corrugator or converting equipment preferred).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read production orders and machine settings.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • A safety-first mindset and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial machinery.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team oriented approach.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Above average organizational skills and detail orientation.
  • Ability to enter product specifications into the computers. 
  • Ability to handle physical workload, up to 50 pounds, standing for the majority of the shift.
  • Basic math skills required (fractions, decimals, addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
