Registered Nurses Needed in Philadelphia, PA
Correctional Facility
Responsibilities
  • Taking vital signs of patients.
  • Provide COVID-19 vaccinations and administer medication
  • Diagnose and treat heath issues
  • Perform health assessments to identify new symptoms of possibly undiagnosed conditions or complications
  • Work alongside MD to determine best course of treatment for patients
  • Triage patients
  • Teach and counsel patients about maintenance of health and prevention of illness or complications
  • Pull charts for next day clinics.
  • Set up for nurses' sick call
  • Check medications and reorder as needed
  • Inventory emergency bag as needed
  • Complete all required documentation
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania
  • 1 year experience as an RN
  • Willingness to work in a correctional facility
