POSITION OVERVIEWAs a Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse, you will play a key leadership role while delivering high-quality patient care and supporting nursing staff during night shift operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient assessments and evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans
- Administering medications and monitoring patient responses
- Maintaining accurate documentation and medical records
- Collaborating with providers and healthcare staff
- Supporting and assisting nursing team members
- Assisting with orientation and training of new staff
- Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and organizational policies
- Supervising and coordinating patient care activities during assigned shifts
QUALIFICATIONS - Current, unrestricted RN license
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to pass a background check
- Pre-employment drug screening required
- Previous correctional or similar healthcare experience preferred
