Description

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Taylorville Correctional Center located in Taylorville, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Shift: Evenings (3p-11p) Pay rate: $22.77/hr + evening shift differential

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
  • CNA licensure in Maryland required
  • Training, experience or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
  • One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
