Corporate Training Coordinator
Job Profile: JP01096
Position Summary:
  • Ensure a World Class Team Member Orientation program is successful and work with all Team Members with the overall goal of reducing turnover.
  • Provide administrative support for the TMX initiatives and work closely with Production Manager, TMX Manager and General Manager.
  • Advance special TMX projects as assigned using skills, knowledge, and abilities gained through experience and education. Duties / Responsibilities:
  • Schedules and coordinates New Hire Orientation program
  • Conducts all facility tours during orientation week
  • Schedules and coordinates cleaning details and tool training for new hires during orientation week
  • Ensure new hires have a thorough understanding of all information provided during orientation week
  • Coordinates regularly scheduled "Green Hat" meetings and report any issues to leadership
  • Ensure the effectiveness of training provided and follow up with Team Members on their effectiveness in assigned department
  • Ability to design training presentations, materials and exercises to reinforce Understanding of manufacturing processes with solid experience in multiple departments
  • Understanding of DAPIA processes, BOSS, and plant safety
  • Interact and assist all new hires throughout their first 90 days of employment, with daily communication for the first 30 days of employment
  • Maintains Training Room and prepares for and assists with set up of all classes
  • Assist the TMX Manager with Team Member Experience initiatives and projects as needed
  • Work with Production Manager to select and provide training for trainers who lead job skills training
  • Ability to travel to Home Office for completion of required training programs
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Management preferred
• Experience with training and instructing personnel
• Strong facilitation, instruction and coaching skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at
one time
• Computer literate (AS400, Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly and positively at all levels,
including internal and external customers, peers, managers, and the home off
ice.
• Bi-lingual English and Spanish.
• Capable of handling and maintaining highly confidential information.

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work may require stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, and / or
pulling.
• Must be able to communicate with others via phone, email, and in person.
• Must be able to exchange accurate information with others.
• Work environment is not temperature controlled and may result in exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Work primarily involves sitting / standing, up to 4 hours at a time.
