Position Summary... What you'll do...Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region.  Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately, but the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We’re looking for Full-time Day Shift Specialist, Physical Security to support operations at our new Central Fill Pharmacy in Springfield, MO. Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in Law Enforcement (LEO), Security, or Military
Salary: $22.75 per hour Schedule:
  • Day Shift
  • Hours may vary
  • Schedule is subject to change with little notice, as this is a new Central Fill facility and adjustments may be required to fulfill security operational needs.

  What you'll do:
  • Support development and implementation of security protocols, programs, and training to enhance safety and compliance.
  • Respond to emergency situations by initiating incident command and providing tactical security responses.
  • Monitor and manage security systems including alarm, intrusion detection, and threat management.
  • Investigate reported threats, policy violations, and security breaches to mitigate risks.
  • Assess visitor threat levels and escort critical information and merchandise securely.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, addressing violations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment.
  • Communicate progress, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to changing conditions.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
