Job description

The Merchandiser focuses on designing and maintaining Store displays and product presentations. This role supports the overall success of the store by ensuring product availability, accurate pricing, clean and organized displays, and positive customer experience. The Merchandiser works closely with store leadership to maintain operational standards and support sales growth through effective merchandising execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in visual merchandising, with a strong understanding of product presentation and display maintenance. In addition to merchandising expertise, this role requires a background in retail sales and customer service. This role is execution focused and requires the ability to follow detailed instructions consistently and accurately.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Travel among stores to assist with store re-sets, specialized projects, and new store openings
  • Regularly refresh floor sets and displays to keep the store looking new, engaging, and well-organized
  • Ensure all visual presentations align with company guidelines and support current marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Corporate Merchandiser and store leadership on product placement, promotions, and merchandising strategies
  • Assist customers on the sales floor by providing product knowledge and personalized service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of display areas, fixtures, and merchandise
  • Execute pre-planned merchandising resets and displays exactly as directed
  • Set monthly endcaps and promotional displays based on provided plans
  • Complete weekly merchandising tasks and assignments accurately and on schedule
  • Work independently across multiple locations with minimal supervision
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

The minimum requirements for this position include:

  • 2-3 years previous experience in merchandising preferred
  • High School or GED equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver’s license and ability to travel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business

  • The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
  • Employee must regularly move and/or lift 50lbs
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, interpret and understand the English language with sufficient proficiency in order to read and understand   
  • While performing the duties, the employee is regularly required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance
  • Specific vision abilities equired by this job include clos vision, distant vision, and color vision with the ability to adjust focus
