Company Description
A Sales Associate needed for rapidly growing commercial cleaning company servicing Fortune 1000 and middle market maintenance accounts in New England.
Job Description
In this position, you will call upon building owners, corporate decision makers, property management, and asset managers to sell contract janitorial services and construction final cleaning as well as brokering all related janitorial services and products.
This role will involve strengthening ties with prospects, customers and the company's vendors. It will be critical in this position to establish new business relationships and leverage current relationships for additional sales in order to meet annual sales goals.
Qualifications
Job Responsibilities
  • Obtain customer contracts and sales orders to meet or exceed historical sales targets
  • Manage sales pipeline using a blend of small, medium and large prospects
  • Utilize previous customer relationships to help meet sales targets
  • Call, email, fax, live prospect, and network for contacts to secure building appointments and submit proposals for sales
  • Conduct weekly sales presentations
  • Prepare proposals for new clients and review them with Sales and/or Operations
  • Maintain a constant market analysis of existing target areas while developing trends for future business
  • Obtain new customer blend of medium to large, multi-year janitorial contracts
  • Grow current and future customer portfolio by continually strengthen ties with corporate and building owner community
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting reports and activities as well as customer and prospect contact key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Familiarity with the latest industry changes and developments, including regulatory changes and trends

Compliance Responsibilities
  • Complete all new account documentation
  • Report to Sales Manager in Weekly Sales Meeting
  • Prepare special instructions and maps for field personnel as required
  • Work closely with Manager/VP of Operations initially and during account start-up to learn how to create pricing for customers

Required Skills
  • Minimum of 1-4 years in commercial sales (Business-To-Business, Business To Business, B2B, Business Development, Industrial Sales, Account Management, and/or Territory Management experience)
  • Burning desire to exceed sales target and goals
  • Strong current and previous track record in sales and business development
  • Strong telephone skills
  • Self-managed and self-motivated work ethic
  • Results oriented
  • Strategic thinking, situational analysis, potential problem/opportunity analysis and decision analysis skills to ensure long-term growth
