Job Description
FCA is seeking a thoughtful and imaginative Staff Interior Designer to join our collaborative, design-driven studio. This role is ideal for someone who brings curiosity, fresh perspective, and a willingness to push ideas further-while thriving in a supportive, team-oriented environment. You'll contribute to meaningful projects, grow alongside experienced designers, and play a hands-on role in shaping interiors that are both functional and inspiring.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works under the direction of mid- to senior-level interior designers
  • Collaborates with and supports Project and Senior Interior Designers in developing design solutions
  • Demonstrates proficiency in design software used by the office for both drafting and presentations
  • Researches and selects colors, finishes, and materials
  • Prepares design and presentation drawings for interior design projects, including furniture specifications, finish boards, and binders
  • Assists with business development efforts through preparation of presentation materials
  • Builds and maintains effective client relationships
  • Takes initiative to research and apply codes and technical requirements

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design; actively pursuing NCIDQ certification
  • 3 to 5 years of experience; workplace design experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and 3ds Max
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment
  • Confidence in contributing ideas and participating in design discussions
  • High attention to detail with an appreciation for thoughtful, creative design
