Job description

An Orange County based (small) CPA firm is seeking a Full Time Tax Associate to join their team. Working directly with the Owner, the Tax Manager and the Senior Tax Accountant,  the Tax Associate will be an integral team member in both tax compliance and planning services to high net worth individuals and their entities. This is a great role for a Tax Associate with minimum tax experience looking to gain valuable tax knowledge and build a career path as a tax professional.

Responsibilities would include:

Preparing and reviewing individual and business corporate and partnership returns.  1+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience, required.

Assist in preparation of miscellaneous filings such as 1099 year-end tax information reporting; annual business license and personal property tax returns.

Demonstrates strong organizational skills, including the ability to meet all deadlines and commitments.

Direct client contact to gather and review relevant client data and source documents for all types of engagements
