The Worship Leader will oversee all corporate worship experiences, lead and shepherd worship teams, and design services that foster encounters with God. This individual will partner closely with the Lead Pastor to craft cohesive, Spirit-led services that engage a multi-generational congregation averaging 500 worshipers across two Sunday services.

·       Plan and Lead: Design and lead engaging, biblically grounded corporate worship experiences for both Sunday morning services in collaboration with the Lead Pastor.

·       Flow & Structure: Integrate sacraments (Holy Communion, Baptism), prayer, and musical elements smoothly into the order of worship.

·       Special Services: Plan and lead additional worship experiences, including Holy Week, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and special church-wide gatherings

2. Team Recruitment, Development & Shepherding

·       Band & Vocal Team: Recruit, audition, train, and mentor worship team members, including vocalists and instrumentalists.

·       Spiritual Care: Shepherd worship team members through regular prayer, spiritual formation, and relational discipleship.

·       Rehearsals: Conduct high-yield weekly rehearsals (music and tech) to ensure excellence and spiritual preparation.

·       Student/Youth Worship: Mentor and empower young musicians, helping build a pipeline for student ministry worship teams.

3. Production & Worship Technology

·       Tech Team Oversight: Recruits, trains, and oversees sound engineers, live-stream operators, and visual presentation technicians (ProPresenter, Planning Center, etc.).

·       Audio/Visual/Lighting (AVL): Ensure sound quality, visual presentation, and online streams are delivered with excellence and consistency.

·       Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and stewardship of church musical instruments, sound gear, and production software.

4. Pastoral & Administrative Duties

·       Staff Team Member: Participate actively in weekly staff meetings, retreats, and general pastoral care as appropriate.

·       Children & Youth Ministries: Support the worship experiences of the youth and children’s ministry as requested and possible.

·       Budgeting: Manage the Worship Arts department budget, ensuring wise stewardship of church resources.

·       Administration: Manage worship planning platforms (e.g., Planning Center Services), song licensing (CCLI), and chord/chart distributions.

·       Community Life: Be an active, visible member of the church community beyond Sunday mornings.

Qualifications & Requirements

·       Spiritual Maturity: A deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ, evidence of the fruit of the Spirit, and alignment with the doctrines of the church as expressed in the Nicene Creed.

·       Musical Proficiency: Strong vocal leadership and proficiency in leading from an instrument (preferably acoustic guitar or piano/keys). Ability to read music/charts and to train others.

·       Leadership Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of experience leading corporate worship in a medium-to-large local church environment.

·       Tech Savvy: Familiarity with worship planning software (Planning Center), presentation tools (ProPresenter), Digital Audio Workstations/Backing Tracks (Multitracks/Ableton), and live-stream setups.

·       Relational & Discipleship Heart: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a genuine desire to shepherd people, not just execute events.
