• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal care.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create an integrated treatment approach for clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, applying this knowledge to enhance client outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations, attend team meetings, and pursue opportunities for professional development.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, working to reduce stigma and foster understanding within the community.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population suffering from mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from various backgrounds, including individuals facing homelessness, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your role will directly contribute to their recovery journey and long-term well-being.

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to foster a secure, trustworthy therapeutic relationship through strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards client experiences.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to balance clinical responsibilities and administrative tasks.

• Experience working with clients with mood disorders or related mental health conditions.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and client advocacy.
• Background in group therapy facilitation or community outreach programs is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 annually, commensurate with your qualifications and experience.
