About the Role:

Forbo Flooring Systems is seeking two experienced and motivated Sales Representatives to drive business growth and strengthen customer relationships within the following territories:

  • Colorado & Utah
  • Pennsylvania & Ohio

This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and growing existing customer relationships throughout the assigned territory. The Sales Representative will work closely with architects, designers, end users, flooring contractors, dealers, distributors, and facility management professionals to promote Forbo's flooring solutions and generate specifications that lead to sales growth.

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying opportunities, delivering product presentations, and supporting projects from specification through installation. This position plays a critical role in expanding Forbo's market presence and achieving territory sales objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of successful outside sales, business development, or territory management experience
    • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
    • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
    • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a multi-state territory
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience selling commercial flooring, architectural products, building materials, interiors, or related products
    • Existing relationships within the Architecture & Design (A&D) community
    • Experience calling on architects, designers, contractors, facility managers, and end users
    • Experience working within specification-driven sales environments
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field
    • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and execute a territory business plan to achieve sales and growth objectives
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within healthcare, education, corporate, government, and other commercial markets
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, flooring contractors, distributors, and end users
    • Conduct product presentations, lunch-and-learns, and training sessions for customers and specification influencers
    • Generate product specifications that convert into commercial flooring projects
    • Manage project pipelines and sales opportunities from initial prospecting through project completion
    • Collaborate with customer service, technical support, marketing, and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences
    • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the territory
    • Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts, and activity reports within the CRM system
    • Represent Forbo Flooring Systems at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
