Responsibilities
CSG is hiring a Senior Database Analyst to support a U.S. Navy customer. This program provides readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources. Uses collaborative, data-driven operating models that include end-to-end readiness ecosystems (operations, maintenance, engineering, supply chain, manpower/training, and financial management). AI-enabled approaches are a desired element of the solution to improve the speed, scale, and consistency of analysis and decision support. The work includes producing readiness assessments and decision-support products; establishing and maintaining consistent readiness metrics and reporting; and integrating data from multiple authoritative and legacy sources to deliver actionable analytics and dashboards. Advanced analytics and, where appropriate, AI/ML techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection, natural language processing of maintenance narratives) are used to identify readiness drivers and constraints, improve predictive analytics, and inform trade-space decisions that balance near-term readiness with longer-term capability objectives, including Fleet legacy platform/systems sustainment and modernization transitions.

Database Analyst, Senior will serve as a Team Lead responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and troubleshooting software programs to include desktop applications and computer-based Information Technology IT systems in addition, the selected candidate will:
  • The selected candidate will design, develop, modify, and troubleshoot databases and programs
  • Correct database and program errors using methods which include modifying program or altering sequence of program steps
  • Analyze, review, and/or rewrite databases or programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt programs to new requirements to include web hosting of metrics
  • Compile and write documentation for database and program development and subsequent revisions
  • Train users to use databases or programs
  • Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions.
  • Trains operators to use programs

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • BA/BS Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is required. Allowable substitution: Six years of additional related work experience.
  • Fifteen years of related experience and of that; six (6) years must be direct experience in training of Naval Aviation maintenance and supply processes and their data systems.
    • NAMP, P-485, OOMA/DECKPLATE, AMSRR, RSUPPLY, AFAST, ACES, TABLEAU, QLIK, TFMMS, SHARP/MSHAPP, PSILS, and ASM
  • Must have knowledge of programming languages to include but not limited to Python, R, SQL.
  • Must have knowledge working with MS SharePoint, and Power Applications
  • May be responsible for the oversight and supervisor of assigned staff
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Compensation: $1.00 - $1.00 per year
