Front Office Receptionist

Ohio Therapy Centers Core Medical Group location, a very busy multi-disciplinary physical medicine office in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a friendly, outgoing motivated front office associate to join our team. This position is part-time or full-time, Mon- Friday with no weekends!

Our facility is known for our friendly, outgoing, and professional staff which begins with the front office. You will have the opportunity to work with different health professionals including Orthopedic, physicians, chiropractors, physical therapist assistants, and massage therapists as well as the most wonderful patients in the world!

Our perfect candidate is a fun-loving, charismatic, task-oriented, outgoing, logical-thinking, multi-tasking leader with keen attention to detail who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure our patients are treated with the highest level of care. The ability to learn new systems quickly is an absolute must in this position. Our front office staff must possess amazing communication skills, have excellent phone etiquette, and make everyone who walks into our office feel welcome. Must be able to work until 6 pm Monday-Thursday, Fridays from 8:30am-12 noon. No Weekends or Holidays!

Basic Responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and guests
  • The ability to interpret data and apply it accordingly
  • Scheduling for multiple providers
  • The ability to take control during difficult situations and find effective solutions
  • Patient file preparation and management
  • Collecting payments and setting up a payment arrangement with patients
  • Basic insurance knowledge
  • Data entry
  • Manage multiple providers' schedules and patient flow
  • Multitasking while building and maintaining patient relationships as well as relationships with referral sources
  • In-office marketing of our current promos and events
  • Orthopedic/ Physical Medicine/Chiropractic experience not needed, but front office or customer service experience greatly encouraged.

Administrative Duties:

  • Scheduling
  • Sorting and sending mail
  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Greeting visitors

Pay: From $14.50 per hour
