Job description

Duties:

  • Perform lab testing in the Core Lab, and report results according to SOP.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers and equipment.
  • Perform quality control tasks and maintain laboratory documentation according to SOP.
  • Maintain and manage laboratory supplies.
  • Provide laboratory information to others on the patient care team.

Skills:

  • Previous laboratory experience preferred, but not necessary;
  • Strong preference for MLSs with Total Lab Automation experience

Required Education:

  • Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology Associates degree required.
  • new graduates welcome.

Preferred Education:ย 

  • BS degree in Medical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology is preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:ย 

  • ASCP or equivalent Medical Laboratory Scientist certification.ย
