Job Title: Java Developer with PL/SQL

Location: Onsite - Chicago, IL

Job Type: Contract (C2C/W2)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong PL/SQL experience to join our team for a contract-based, onsite role in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in developing enterprise-level applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and integrating with Oracle PL/SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications.
  • Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages.
  • Integrate Java applications with Oracle databases.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

Required Skills:

  • 9-12+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL - procedures, triggers, packages.
  • Good understanding of SQL performance tuning and data modeling.
