Job description

Industrial Maintenance Electronics Technician / Electrician

An employee-owned manufacturer of medium voltage wire and cable products has an immediate opening for an Industrial Maintenance Electronics Technician / Electrician in a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.

This role supports production operations through installation, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of manufacturing equipment and facility infrastructure.

The ideal candidate brings strong electrical trade fundamentals, including the ability to maintain and install:

  • Simple electrical circuits and lighting systems

  • AC & DC motors and drives

  • Machinery control circuits

  • Building control systems

  • Power distribution systems

Candidates must also demonstrate hands-on experience with industrial automation and controls, including:

  • Allen Bradley PLCs (programming required)

  • HMI systems

  • Process controllers

  • Data exchange and communications equipment

  • Analog and digital process devices

  • Sensors used in machine automation and control

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of related industrial maintenance experience

  • Associate’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Technology preferred

  • Ability to work any shift in a three-shift manufacturing operation (initial assignment on 2nd or 3rd shift)
