Job description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Flux Core Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. If you have a passion for welding and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! Our facility is committed to delivering high-quality products, and we need someone who can help us achieve that through their expertise in flux core welding.

1st shift: 6am-2:30pm M-F

Responsibilities
  • Perform flux core welding on various materials and components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accuracy in projects.
  • Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance welding skills and techniques.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Welding certification is preferred but not mandatory.

You should be proficient in:

  • Welding Setups for Production
  • Blueprint Reading
