Job description

Position: Underground Keyhole Utilities / Core Drilling Technician
The Underground Keyhole Utilities / Core Drilling Technician will be responsible for scanning specific sites for presence of buried underground utilities within the concrete pavement restoration industry.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Performing precisely controlled excavation to access buried utilities for the purpose of locating, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and installation of utility facilities with the use of specialized tools.
  • All work is performed outside in heat, cold, and inclement weather
  • Standing, Walking, Climbing, stooping and bending
  • Periodic lifting of 50 lbs
  • Exposure to all elements of terrains, loud noise, fumes, odors, gases, dust, etc.
  • Working near heavy traffic
  • Strong manual dexterity

Qualifications
  • 2+ Years Experience in Keyholing Underground Utilities Core Drilling Technicians
  • OSHA 10 Required, 30 preferred (leadman+ required)
  • The ability to travel is a must!

The successful candidate will have
  • Arithmetic ability to produce necessary calculations
  • Computer skills to operate drafting, map-making and geographic information software
  • In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the placement of utility lines
  • Analytical skills to interpret data compiled by equipment
  • Ability to lift or pull items weighing up to 80 pounds
