Job description

Core Dermatology is seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse to join our patient-first focused team. This is a full-time position that will be on-site.

Responsibilities:

As a Surgical Nurse at Core Dermatology, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team, dedicated to providing exceptional care to our Surgery patients.

Procedural care responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing patients for surgery under local anesthetic and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
  • Assisting surgical team during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies.
  • Monitoring patient’s vital signs and respond to any changes.
  • Administering medications as directed by physicians.
  • Collaborating with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow and patient safety.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of patient care and procedures.
  • Participating in ongoing education and training to stay updated on best practices and advancements in surgical nursing.

Hours:

  • 40 hours per week; 10-hour shifts
  • 6:30am - 5:00pm

Requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procedural or surgical nursing preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.

Salary Information:
This is a Non-Exempt position. Pay will be based on years of experience and licensure date. The budgeted hourly pay range is $31.00-40.52.
