Job Summary: 

Killington/Pico is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative, and highly organized Creative Design & Production Supervisor to oversee the development and production of marketing, branding, signage, digital, and promotional assets across the resort. Working closely with the Creative Services team and departments throughout the organization, this role ensures a consistent brand presence while managing Sign Shop operations, external vendor production, and overseeing the Junior Designer & Production Coordinator and Sign Shop Technician. The ideal candidate will have strong graphic design and project management experience, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a solid understanding of the ski and snowboard industry and mountain culture.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: 

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Create, design and coordinate production of promotional materials needed by internal departments.
  • Confer with Killington department managers to determine needs and develop marketing strategies.
  • Work with Creative Services Team, Communications Team and Events Team to follow through projects to completion.
  • Self-manage multiple projects at any given time.
  • Oversee the Sign Shop to ensure quality and consistency across all printed material posted at the resort.
  • Communicate regularly with a variety of outside firms & organizations, i.e. printers, publications, vendors, artists, photographers, community organizations, etc.
  • Maintain digital archives of all jobs and assets.
  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
  • Follow the Resort Hospitality Guidelines while interacting with guests and respond in a courteous, efficient manner.
  • Manage the ordering of raw materials, various signage substrates, and branded merch.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Art School or Graphic Design, plus two years of experience managing direct reports in a supervisor level role and four years of experience designing and overseeing the production of digital assets, color brochures, ads and various promotional materials.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Illustration and/or copywriting skills helpful.
