Description:Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and safety-oriented School Bus Driver to transport construction workers within Miami-Dade County. This position involves operating a school bus to shuttle workers from a designated parking garage to active construction job sites and back, following established routes and schedules.


Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a school bus to transport construction personnel between a central parking garage and multiple job sites throughout Miami-Dade County
  • Adhere to all Florida traffic laws, Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) regulations, and Miami-Dade County transportation requirements
  • Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Florida CDL standards
  • Maintain accurate schedules while navigating local traffic and construction zones
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, or site managers regarding delays or route changes
  • Ensure safe boarding and exiting of passengers at all locations
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe vehicle environment
  • Promptly report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or incidents
Work Environment
  • Driving in urban Miami-Dade County traffic and active construction areas
  • Daily interaction with construction workers and site personnel

  • Ability to pass Level 2 background screening, drug and alcohol testing, and DOT physical
  • Previous experience driving a school bus or commercial passenger vehicle preferred

  • Ability to work early mornings, afternoons, and/or split shifts as required
