Role Overview
The D472 Administrative Aide will provide support for multiple Engineering groups and a Technical Writing Group.
Key Responsibilities
  • Distribution (Electronic and Hard Copy)
  • Database Maintenance
  • Utilize XML and SGML to format technical manuals
  • Technical Manual Updating
  • LAR Processing
  • Typing Correspondences

The successful candidate will have well developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. They should demonstrate strong prioritization skills, ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently. A commitment to customer service is essential, along with a willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed. Additionally, excellent organizational and facilitation skills are required.
Qualifications
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-4 years of administrative experience in an office setting
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the DoD

Preferred
  • Experience with SGML, XML and HTML
  • Knowledge of other software (Access, Adobe Acrobat)
  • Experience editing/proofing

Skills
  • Typing net speed of at least 45 words per minute
