Job description

The Copy Manager at Arhaus will lead the way our brand comes to life across all customer touchpoints. Sitting at the intersection of brand storytelling, campaign strategy, and performance marketing, this role owns the strategy, quality, consistency, and execution of copy across email, social, digital advertising, print, in-store marketing, and emerging channels.

Working closely with the Associate Creative Director of Copy, the Copy Manager will lead the development of compelling, cohesive, and elevated brand narratives that inspire, engage, and drive action—while ensuring consistency within the Arhaus brand voice and values, and adherence to established budgets and timelines.

This role partners closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, Growth, and Operations teams, as well as fellow Creatives, to shape seasonal campaigns, promotional messaging, brand storytelling initiatives, and customer communications that deepen connection and support Arhaus’ business goals

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Own the omnichannel copy strategy across all touchpoints, including email, social media, paid media, print, in-store signage, and digital campaigns.

• Write, edit, and refine campaign messaging that balances compelling brand storytelling with clarity, performance, and conversion.

• Collaborate closely with Art Directors to shape integrated creative concepts, ensuring words and visuals work together to create cohesive, compelling brand experiences.

• Evolve and maintain Arhaus’ marketing copy guidelines to ensure voice consistency, scalability, and cohesion across channels.

• Lead and mentor a team of copywriters, providing clear direction, thoughtful feedback, and high standards of quality control.

• Manage working relationships with freelance partners to ensure alignment, efficiency, and excellence in execution.

• Partner closely with Marketing, Ecommerce, Retail, and Growth teams to translate business objectives, promotional strategies, and seasonal concepts into compelling customer-facing narratives.

• Partner with Growth Marketing team to test, optimize, and refine messaging based on data and insights.

• Partner with Operations team to manage campaign calendars, launch timelines, and workflow processes to ensure deadlines are met without compromising quality.

• Stay attuned to customer insights, industry trends, cultural moments, and channel evolution to continuously refine and elevate Arhaus’ voice across touchpoints.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in copywriting, with a strong focus on brand and campaign creative.

• A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates exceptional writing skills and the ability to adapt tone across different channels and objectives.

• Proven experience managing or mentoring writers and overseeing multi-channel creative output.

• A refined editorial eye with the ability to elevate language while maintaining clarity, cohesion, and performance awareness.

• Deep understanding of how copy functions across digital, social, print, and retail marketing environments.

• Strong organizational and project management skills; comfortable balancing multiple campaigns and deadlines.

• Excellent and proactive communication skills.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Growth, and Retail.

• A strategic mindset that connects storytelling to measurable business outcomes.

• Passion for design, craftsmanship, and creating meaningful brand experiences.

Preferred Experience

 ·      Experience working for a home, furniture, fashion, lifestyle, or luxury retail brand.

·        Experience contributing to and evolving a brand voice.

At Arhaus, we believe great hiring starts with authentic human connection. Throughout your candidate experience, you will be engaging with real recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers who are focused on getting to know you, your experiences, skills, perspectives, and potential. We encourage candidates to use AI to support resume refinement, interview preparation, brainstorming, and communication. All application materials, assessments, and interview responses must accurately reflect your own experiences, qualifications, and capabilities. We ask that you participate in phone and virtual interviews without using AI to develop your responses. To protect the integrity of our hiring process and the confidentiality of information shared during interviews, candidates may not record, transcribe, or use AI-powered note-taking tools during interviews. We expect all candidates to participate in the hiring process with honesty and integrity. For take-home assignments or role-specific assessments where AI use is permitted, we request transparency on which specific tools were used and how the tools were used and expect an explanation of your approach, contributions, and decision-making.
