Job Description Journeyman Plumber Grand Rapids, MI $32-$42/hour (Based on Experience) Full-Time | Commercial & Industrial Projects About the Role: We're seeking a licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our commercial mechanical team in the Grand Rapids area. In this role, you'll install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial and industrial settings - working closely with HVAC and piping crews to deliver high-quality installations that meet all code requirements. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings Install piping, valves, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing components Troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures Conduct preventive maintenance on plumbing systems Ensure full compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes Collaborate with supervisors and other trades for scheduling and materials Accurately complete daily timesheets, material logs, and as-builts Qualifications: Valid Michigan Journeyman Plumber License 3-5 years of commercial/industrial plumbing experience Proficient in copper, PVC/CPVC, cast iron, soldering, and brazing Knowledge of backflow systems, grease traps, commercial water heaters Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in confined or wet spaces Strong problem-solving and communication skills Must pass drug screen and background check Working Conditions: Field-based role throughout Grand Rapids and surrounding areas Work may involve wet environments, elevated workspaces, and confined areas Must adhere to all company and jobsite safety policies Grow with Us - Paid In-House Training: Take advantage of paid, hands-on training in our onsite electrical, refrigeration, and hydronics labs
