Location: Rockville, MD (Onsite, 3 days per week) - No exceptions

Position Description:

LCG is currently seeking a ServiceNow Developer, Associate for implementing IT Operations Management solutions. The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for developing solutions using best practices for implementing Service Portal, Catalog, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and App Engine modules - Discovery, Service Mapping, and event management.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface and coordinate with IT Program Manager, IT Infrastructure team, and other stakeholders to gather and refine requirements on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Leverage experience and subject matter expertise to implement the Core suite of ITOM, Service Portal, Catalog, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, App Engine applications โ€“ Discovery and Service Mapping.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications, Monitoring, SIEM systems, other ServiceNow instances, and Microsoft Copilot.
  • Customize Service Portal for enhanced end-user experience and incorporate Copilot capabilities to streamline and automate routine processes.
  • As a Senior Developer, mentor other developers and peer review code to ensure team development follows ServiceNow and Copilot best practices.
  • Work on Continuous Service Improvement by performing periodic technical and functional assessments of solutions, implementing Copilot-enabled enhancements where applicable.
  • Provide technical documentation for all implemented solutions, including Copilot integrations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or a related field, or 5+ relevant years of experience.
  • Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience in implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including but not limited to server- and client-side scripting, Glide API, Web Services, AngularJS, ServiceNow Studio, Bootstrap CSS, Jelly Scripts, etc.
  • Extensive process knowledge and working experience as a lead implementer for ITOM, Service Portal, Catalog, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and App Engine solutions, with an added focus on integrating Copilot into workflows.
  • Experience integrating with enterprise and third-party applications through OOTB and custom APIs, including Copilot integration.
  • Experience in creating audience-specific technical documents, user guides, and/or presentations. Strong communication skills (verbal & written), with the ability to explain Copilot-enhanced solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
