NCDIT-T Web Systems is seeking a hybrid-skilled AI Platform Architect & Enablement Engineer with deep experience in Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and AI integration into enterprise applications.
 
  • The candidate will need to come on-site on the first day to collect equipment.

  • All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina.

  • This position may require up to 3 days per week at a Triangle area office for return to the office in addition to various in-person responsibilities, including meetings.

 
NCDIT-T Web Systems is seeking a hybrid-skilled AI Platform Architect & Enablement Engineer with deep experience in Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and AI integration into enterprise applications.  This role bridges infrastructure and AI enablement—supporting development teams in embedding AI into both new and existing applications, while ensuring scalable, secure, and policy-compliant Azure implementations.  This role requires a proactive engineer who can contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and enforcement of cloud governance policies in a large public-sector environment.  Ideal candidates will have a strong development background and specialize in AI platform enablement.

 
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of Copilot Studio and Azure OpenAI solutions for both internal and public-facing applications.
  • Guide development teams on embedding AI into existing and new applications, including prompt engineering, API integration, and data flow design.
  • Architect and scale AI platforms to support high-concurrency, low-latency workloads, including peak load planning and autoscaling strategies.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable Azure environments using Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep/Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
