Job description


The Market Area Sales Project Manager is responsible for supporting the pursuit, development, and execution planning of capital projects within a defined market area territory. This position works directly with clients to understand project needs, track and advance opportunities, and collaborate with internal estimating and operations teams to deliver competitive proposals and execution strategies. The Market Area Sales Project Manager serves as a key connector between business development, estimating, and field operations, ensuring alignment from early-stage opportunity development through project award. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, driving regional sales growth, and supporting consistent and successful project delivery.
This is a commission-eligible role with an estimated first-year range of $105,000-$140,000 total compensation (base + uncapped commission). Actual compensation will vary depending on experience, performance, geographic location, and market alignment. This role offers strong earning potential for driven individuals in a high-impact sales environment.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Identifies and pursues territory project opportunities through client engagement, market awareness, and local industry networks.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with assigned clients and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively addresses client needs and concerns to support successful project outcomes.
  • Supports development of project strategies, including contract approach, scope definition, and coordination with internal teams.
  • Tracks and reports on opportunity pipeline, project progress, and key performance metrics within the market area.
  • Provides regular updates to leadership on sales activity and project development status.
