Job Summary
Disability Law Group is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media & Events Coordinator to support the firm's growing marketing and community outreach efforts.
This role combines social media content creation, event planning, community engagement, and marketing coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable attending community events, enjoys creating content on social platforms, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position works closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications and Multimedia Specialist to increase brand awareness, strengthen community partnerships, and support DLG's mission of serving disabled individuals and veterans.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media Support (40%)
  • Capture photos and videos for social media content
  • Create and schedule social media posts
  • Monitor social media trends and identify content opportunities
  • Assist with short-form video creation (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn)
  • Track engagement metrics and prepare basic performance reports
  • Assist with social media campaigns and promotions
  • Collaborate with Multimedia Specialist on content strategy

Event Coordination (40%)
  • Research and identify relevant community events, resource fairs, veteran events, and networking opportunities
  • Coordinate event registrations and sponsorship opportunities
  • Communicate with event organizers and vendors
  • Manage event logistics and timelines
  • Assist with event setup and attendance
  • Capture content at community events for social media use
  • Maintain event calendars and planning documents
  • Track event outcomes and prepare post-event summaries

Marketing & Administrative Support (20%)
  • Maintain marketing calendars
