Cooler Associates are workers responsible for handling and organizing products in refrigerated storage areas, often in grocery stores, warehouses, or distribution centers. Their duties typically include receiving, stocking, rotating, and maintaining the cleanliness and temperature of cooler sections to ensure products remain fresh and safe. They may also assist with inventory management and help customers locate items. Cooler Associates must follow safety and health regulations to prevent spoilage and contamination. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, and cold storage safety protocols is commonly required. Reliability, teamwork, and effective communication are standout soft skills in this role. These abilities ensure accurate order fulfillment, product quality, and a safe, efficient work environment in temperature-controlled settings.
