Job description

NOW HIRING

Professional Stuff Builder

(Installer / Carpenter)

Do you enjoy building cool things?

Do you know that a crescent wrench is not called the "spinny thing?"

Can you make it to work without your mom calling to say you're sick?

Congratulations... you're already ahead of half the applicants.

Suncoast Northwest builds some of the most badass outdoor living spaces in the Pacific Northwest. Louver roof systems. Patio covers. Retractable power screens. We don't build cookie-cutter junk—we build projects that make the neighbors stop and stare.

We're growing, and we need another solid installer to join our crew.

What You'll Do

Every day is a little different, but you can expect to:

  • Build custom patio covers, pergolas, louver roofs, and retractable screen systems.
  • Frame structures using wood and aluminum.
  • Install decking, railings, trim, roofing, lighting, heaters, and accessories.
  • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment.
  • Load and unload materials.
  • Keep jobsites clean and organized.
  • Work directly with customers while maintaining a professional attitude.
  • Take pride in building work you'll actually want to show your friends.

The Kind of Person We're Looking For

You're probably a good fit if you:

  • Show up every day.
  • Show up ON TIME.
  • Work hard without someone standing over your shoulder.
  • Take pride in doing quality work.
  • Enjoy working outside.
  • Can laugh, take a joke, and give one back.
  • Want to learn and improve your skills.
  • Believe that "good enough" usually isn't.

If you're looking for somewhere to hide all day, spend an hour in the porta-potty, or disappear every Friday because your cousin's roommate's dog has another birthday...

...this probably isn't the place for you.

Requirements

Valid driver's license (required)

Reliable vehicle to get to work every day (required)

✔ Ability to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly

✔ Comfortable working outdoors in all Pacific Northwest weather

✔ Able to climb ladders and work at heights

✔ Construction experience preferred (carpentry, framing, decks, fencing, patio covers, roofing, etc.)

✔ Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Schedule

Monday-Friday

40+ hours per week

NO WEEKENDS. EVER.

We work hard Monday through Friday so you can enjoy your weekends with your family, your toys, or doing absolutely nothing. We like it that way.

What We Offer

Competitive hourly pay based on experience

Plenty of overtime opportunities

High-quality tools and equipment

Paid training and opportunities to learn specialized systems

A crew that works hard, has each other's backs, and isn't afraid to bust each other's chops

Room to grow into Lead Installer or Foreman positions

One Last Thing...

We don't expect perfection.

We DO expect honesty.

We DO expect effort.

We DO expect you to show up when you say you're going to.

If that's you, we'd love to talk.

If your alarm clock has a better attendance record than you...

...keep scrolling.
