Now Hiring: Hybrid Cook / Dietary Aide
Manderley Health Center | Osgood, IN | Skilled Nursing Facility
Pay Rate: $15/hour
Schedule: Full-Time 6am - 7pm, 3 days a week, every other weekend

Are you passionate about food service and helping others? Manderley Health Center is seeking a versatile Cook / Dietary Aide to support both kitchen preparation and resident meal service in our skilled nursing facility. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in delivering nutritious, well-prepared meals in a caring environment.

Responsibilities Include:

As a Cook:

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with planned menus and diet orders

  • Follow standard recipes and portion control procedures

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils

  • Coordinate meal production and serving times

As a Dietary Aide:

  • Assist with meal service and tray delivery

  • Help plate and serve meals in a timely and attractive manner

  • Clean worktables, kitchen surfaces, carts, and dining areas

  • Support the cook with prep work and special requests

  • Return dirty dishes to the dishwashing area and ensure sanitation standards are met

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Prior food service or healthcare dietary experience preferred

  • Culinary school a plus but not required

  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
