Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an energetic and reliable Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled menu items while maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and consistency in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in delivering excellent food and customer service.

  • Prepare and cook grilled menu items according to recipes and company standards.
  • Ensure food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented consistently.
  • Set up and stock the grill station before each service.
  • Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Assist with food preparation, inventory rotation, and receiving deliveries as required.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Report equipment issues or food quality concerns to the Kitchen Manager or Chef.
  • Support opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Grill Cook, Line Cook, or in a similar food service role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Food Safety Certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg (55 lbs), work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
