Job description

Position Summary


We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor (Corrugating Industry) to lead daily production operations within a corrugated packaging manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience supervising converting operations, leading production teams, driving safety and quality initiatives, and ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining high operational standards.


Responsibilities


  • Supervise daily converting operations, including flexographic printing, die cutting, folder-gluers, and finishing equipment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production employees while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality, efficiency, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor machine performance, productivity, waste, and downtime, implementing corrective actions when needed.
  • Partner with maintenance, quality, and production planning teams to minimize downtime and maximize equipment performance.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures.
  • Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance and productivity.
  • Monitor attendance, staffing levels, and employee performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost, and operational efficiency.
  • Complete production reports and communicate shift performance to plant leadership.


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a corrugated packaging or converting manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising converting operations, including flexo presses, die cutters, folder-gluers, and finishing equipment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production metrics.
  • Understanding of OSHA safety standards and quality systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and lead multiple priorities.
