Industrial Mechanic Millwright (Multiple Openings)

Full-time, Perm

Location: Trenton, On 

Pay: $46.34/hour, plus a $1.00 night shift premium.

Shift: continental 12-hour shift rotation (6:30 AM – 6:30 PM / 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM).

While there may be opportunities for straight shifts in the future, flexibility is required.

What You'll Do

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring converting and production equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing daily equipment inspections and collaborating with supervisors, operators, and maintenance team members to prioritize work
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical systems including power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems
  • Aligning, adjusting, and maintaining pumps, fans, conveyors, and converting equipment with precision
  • Fabricating replacement parts using machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
  • Responding to both planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdowns
  • Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, documentation, and service records
  • Supporting and promoting a strong safety culture, teamwork, and clear communication across operations

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a hands-on, safety-focused trades professional with strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.

  • Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A) and completion of a recognized apprenticeship or trade program
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across industrial equipment
  • Experience in fabrication and ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Working knowledge of PLC systems considered an asset
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in a shift-based (continental rotation) environment
