Siemens Digital Industries is looking for a leader who can help strengthen project, engineering, and service delivery excellence across complex industrial environments.
We are looking for a Director, Industrial Project Execution. This position will be based in Alpharetta, GA or Harleysville, PA, with flexibility for the selected candidate to reside anywhere in the United States.
You'll make an impact by:
  • Leading the Project Management Office (PMO) and Bid Management Office (BMO) for Industrial Project Execution with clear ownership, operating rhythms, decision rights, and performance transparency.
  • Strengthening the bid phase by ensuring deliverable, compliant offers with well-defined scope, assumptions, resource models, commercial readiness, risk assessments, and bid-to-execution handoff processes.
  • Driving disciplined project execution through governance, execution readiness, project reviews, risk and claim management, schedule management, cost control, and customer commitment oversight.
  • Improving the conversion of projects into profitable lifecycle service agreements by embedding lifecycle strategies early and ensuring seamless project-to-service transitions.
  • Building strong partnerships across Sales, Services, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Quality, external partners, and global stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered predictably and profitably.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing Manager-level leaders across PMO and BMO functions to drive accountability, people leadership, execution discipline, and organizational performance.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across bid management and project delivery processes to improve consistency, scalability, operational efficiency, and execution excellence.
  • Establishing robust project governance frameworks that improve execution predictability, risk visibility, project quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Enhancing organizational capability through repeatable execution models, best practices, and standardized delivery methodologies.
  • Supporting business growth initiatives by improving lifecycle service attachment rates and maximizing long-term customer value through successful execution strategies.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading project, service, or solution execution within process industries, discrete manufacturing, industrial automation, or comparable industrial environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading project delivery organizations, PMO functions, bid management organizations, or related operational teams.
  • 5+ years of experience governing complex customer projects, including risk management, change management, project reviews, and execution performance management.
  • 5+ years of experience shaping or governing complex bids, including delivery feasibility, commercial readiness, risk assessment, and bid-to-execution handover.
  • Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation initiatives and implementing scalable operating models across multiple teams or business functions.
  • Strong business acumen with experience managing scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, customer commitment, and business performance metrics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively across engineering, services, sales, finance, legal, and quality organizations.
  • Ability to travel as required to support customer, team, and business needs.
  • Proficient in English both written and verbal
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in industrial automation, process automation, discrete automation, lifecycle services, or systems integration businesses.
  • Experience leading both bid management and execution governance for complex, multi-year customer programs.
  • Experience developing partner-led, co-delivery, or hybrid execution models.
  • Experience supporting lifecycle service growth initiatives and service attachment strategies.
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project leadership credentials.

The pay range for this position is $145,156 - $248,839 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
