The Business Program Manager (BPM) drives the execution and adoption of the Value Acceleration Services (VAS) portfolio for the AI Business Solutions (ABS) Solution Area by translating strategy into scalable programs, field-ready motions, and measurable business impact.
This role is responsible for activating VAS offers in market, ensuring alignment across Sales, Delivery, and Go-to-Market teams, and driving programs that accelerate customer adoption, optimize performance, and expand usage of Microsoft Cloud and AI solutions.
The BPM ensures that portfolio priorities are effectively operationalized by:
Driving field readiness and seller activation
Executing adoption and go-to-market programs
Incorporating customer and field feedback into continuous improvement
Delivering insight-driven performance tracking to optimize outcomes
Success in this role is defined by the ability to connect strategy to execution, enabling consistent, high-quality delivery of VAS offerings that accelerate customer value realization and contribute directly to growth.

Responsibilities
Portfolio Execution & Program Management
  • Execute strategic initiatives across the ABS VAS portfolio, translating business priorities into scalable programs and deliverables
  • Drive end-to-end execution of adoption, activation, and growth programs aligned to portfolio goals
  • Manage timelines, dependencies, and risks to ensure consistent delivery at scale

Field Enablement & Seller Activation
  • Enable field teams with clear positioning, plays, and readiness materials to drive VAS adoption
  • Activate go-to-market motions that improve pipeline generation and conversion
  • Partner with Sales and CSU teams to ensure effective execution in-market

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Align stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Engineering, Finance, and GTM to ensure cohesive execution
  • Drive clarity on roles, handoffs, and ownership to reduce friction and accelerate outcomes
  • Act as a key connector between strategy, field, and delivery teams

Adoption Programs & Customer Impact
  • Design and execute programs that accelerate customer adoption, usage, and value realization
  • Identify opportunities to expand VAS across existing customers and solution areas
  • Ensure programs are aligned to customer needs and business priorities

Performance Tracking & Insights
  • Analyze performance trends, field feedback, and customer signals to assess program effectiveness
  • Deliver insights that inform decision-making and continuous improvement
  • Track key business indicators (e.g., adoption, pipeline, conversion, impact) to drive accountability

Continuous Improvement & Portfolio Optimization
  • Incorporate field and customer feedback into program and offer refinement
  • Identify gaps in execution or adoption and drive corrective actions
  • Contribute to improving the scalability, consistency, and clarity of the VAS portfolio

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
