About the Role

As a Consultant Lead, IBS Deposit Suite Conversion, you will lead complex banking conversion and implementation programs for clients transitioning to FIS solutions. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients by translating business requirements into accurate data mapping, configuration, and conversion solutions. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity, operational readiness, and a seamless client experience.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Lead data conversion and implementation activities for banking clients transitioning to FIS solutions.
  • Analyze customer data files, business processes, and operational requirements to develop conversion strategies.
  • Create and validate detailed field-to-field data maps and transaction workflows.
  • Configure customer‑specific system parameters and ensure accurate application setup.
  • Conduct data validation, testing, and quality reviews to verify conversion accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner with clients and internal teams to resolve data, configuration, and implementation issues.
  • Coordinate readiness reviews, ensuring training, procedures, reports, and system configurations are production ready.
  • Review test results and communicate findings, recommendations, and resolution plans to stakeholders.
  • Provide implementation support through conversion events, troubleshooting issues and minimizing business disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve implementation processes, controls, and client outcomes.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Typically, 7+ years of experience in banking operations, financial services implementations, data conversion, or business systems analysis. Experience performing data mapping, data validation, and system configuration activities. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data structures and business requirements. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple implementation projects and priorities simultaneously. Excellent client‑facing communication and relationship management skills. Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and communicate effectively with technical teams. Experience supporting software testing, issue resolution, and implementation lifecycle activities.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with FIS banking solutions, including Integrated Banking System (IBS). Understanding of banking operations, data conversion methodologies, and implementation best practices. Knowledge of core deposit applications and exceptions processing. Experience conducting client training, readiness reviews, and user acceptance testing.
