The opportunity

We are seeking a Marketing Copywriter to join our team at our Toronto office. In this role, you will partner closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to produce high-converting landing pages, persuasive sales proposals, polished company brochures, and a full spectrum of marketing collateral. You will be both a wordsmith and a strategist, someone who understands audience psychology, conversion principles, and how to align copy with business objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.


Key responsibilities

  • Write and optimize landing pages, website copy, and digital campaigns that drive lead generation and conversions.
  • Develop high-end copy for paid ads (LinkedIn, Google, display), email sequences, and social media.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to create winning proposals, pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies.
  • Maintain and evolve brand voice guidelines, messaging frameworks, and editorial standards.
  • Apply SEO best practices and keyword strategy to web and blog content.
  • Work with Marketing on campaign strategy, audience segmentation, and positioning for new products or features.
  • Use performance data and analytics to refine copy and improve engagement/conversion rates.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, or related role
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong writing across landing pages, sales materials, brochures, and digital campaigns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, customer journeys, and conversion optimization.
  • Familiarity with SEO, content management systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Financial services, fintech, SaaS, or technology experience is preferred.
