Job description

LaborMax Staffing is seeking an experienced Metal Treatment Technician for a manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL.

IMPORTANT: This position requires previous hands-on experience in metal treatment, chemical processing, metal finishing, anodizing, conversion coating, or a closely related field. Warehouse, packing, picking, or general labor experience alone does NOT qualify.


What You’ll Do

  • Apply chemical conversion coatings to metal parts according to customer specifications.
  • Clean and prepare metal parts using power washers and air drying.
  • Follow chemical processing procedures and process flow charts.
  • Read and correctly interpret job travelers and work instructions.
  • Inspect parts to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Work with Quality and Production teams to meet production schedules.
  • Follow all chemical handling, safety, and quality procedures.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Previous professional experience in metal treatment, chemical processing, metal finishing, anodizing, conversion coating, or a similar manufacturing process.
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of metal treatment/finishing processes.
  • Experience reading job travelers, process sheets, or production specifications is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
